Joshua DaSilva, 17, of New Milford, who went missing while swimming with friends on Monday, May 27, was recovered by the New Milford Police Department and the Newtown Underwater Search and Rescue, said New Milford Police Lt. Lawrence Ash.
"The body of the missing swimmer has been found by the NMPD diving team," said Bass on Facebook. "Please say a prayer for the found swimmer and family."
Ash said the department would like to "express our deepest condolences to Joshua's family and friends"
